About the Course
The official Arsenal Football Development Camps in the UK give young players the chance to train under the same philosophy used at the official Arsenal Academy. It allows players to enhance their football skills while learning to 'Play the Arsenal Way.'
Students will learn English through football and in the classroom with Exsportise’s British Council-accredited English course, providing students with 21st-century English language skills.
At the heart of the Arsenal Football summer camp programme is the Strong Young Gunner model, focusing on four key areas: becoming effective team players, efficient movers, lifelong learners, and developing a champion mentality. This approach, utilised by the Arsenal Academy, one of the world's leading football clubs, ensures players not only improve on the pitch but also gain valuable life skills that support their growth beyond football.
All sessions, led by an excellent team of UEFA-qualified Arsenal Head Coaches, recreate the all-round experiences of professional players like Saka and highlight what is needed to succeed at a high level - giving players the true Arsenal Academy experience. The experienced Arsenal coaching team are trained to adapt the programme to each age group and ability level, meaning every player is challenged at the right pace and builds confidence. Through tailored drills, small-sided games, and match play in ability groups, students learn and progress in the same techniques, skills and Game IQ taught at Arsenal's world-renowned Hale End Academy.
Players participating in the football-only option will participate in further workshops and analysis sessions to give more insight into the life of an Arsenal player.
Goalkeepers joining our summer football camp immerse themselves in the life of a professional goalkeeper with daily sessions focusing on all aspects of the position. The Arsenal Football Club International Academy goalkeeper coaching syllabus covers techniques such as footwork and handling, positioning, possession, support and distribution - and various other skills required to make an effective modern-day goalkeeper.
Performance & Development
Through a high-quality soccer training experience, players can improve all aspects of their game, including physical, technical, tactical and psychological elements. They will leave the summer football camp feeling inspired not only to be better players but also better people, and to follow in the footsteps of academy players like Saka.
At the end of the course, an official Arsenal FD certificate is awarded to each player, contributing to their ongoing improvement in the game. Each player will receive verbal feedback from Arsenal Football Development's head coaches.

About the School
Set within 500 acres of picturesque parkland in Hertfordshire, Haileybury School provides an inspiring and spacious environment for boys aged 9–15 to focus on football, friendship, and personal growth.
The historic yet modern campus provides the ideal setting for a focused sports development experience, just 20 miles north of Central London.
Due to its elite facilities, Haileybury is often used by many Premier League Football Academies, including that of Arsenal FC, to train some of the junior gunners and play matches against other academies.
Haileybury’s secure and beautifully maintained grounds create a safe, welcoming atmosphere that encourages independence and confidence.
With clearly defined pathways between boarding houses, football pitches, dining areas, and social spaces, boys are able easily navigate the campus and enjoy a wide range of on-site facilities designed to support both athletic progression and social engagement.
Accommodation:
Boys-only venue, Haileybury School, offers students high-quality student residences in secure on-site boarding houses, with a dedicated house parent to look after students' wellbeing. Most rooms have 1-2 beds (with a few rooms of 4 to 8 for younger students) and shared bathrooms. All of our boarding houses have comfortable social spaces (common rooms) and facilities where students can relax during their free time and in the evening.
Meals:
Meals are held in the historic main dining hall, offering a diverse menu featuring a blend of British and international cuisine. Two hot choices are always available for lunch and dinner, accompanied by a complimentary salad bar.
Vegetarians and individuals with special diets for medical reasons can be accommodated upon special request before your course.
