About the Course
Medicine - Summer Course
Over the course of 2 weeks, students will get to step into the shoes of a doctor working in London, through a range of immersive career simulations and exclusive professional site visits. They’ll perform key medical tasks in a London hospital, attend patient consultations, practise taking blood, and learn to stitch up wounds.
Build professional networks with like-minded people – a great way to support their development in the field. They'll also get to experience life at the renowned University College London (UCL). Take advantage of this special opportunity for students to get a taste of their dream career.

This Summer Experience is for students aged 15-18 and you do not require any prior knowledge to attend.

Programme Highlights
Visits a teaching hospital and work as part of a team of doctors and conduct a simulated ward round, guided by a doctor
Work under pressure to assess a robot patient on a trauma ward, perform immediate treatment and receive live feedback from emergency medicine doctors
Make diagnoses by reviewing patients' data, including x-rays, blood tests, consultation notes and medical history
Use the latest medical virtual-reality technology to become submerged in a hospital’s emergency department
