About the Course
Designed for students fascinated by the meeting point of medicine and engineering.
Hosted in Milan, Italy's hub for healthcare, life sciences and biomedical innovation. Participants discover how medical technology is designed, prototyped and tested, culminating in a capstone project developed with a
biomedical engineering company.
During the program students explore the fundamentals of biomedical engineering through lectures, laboratory activities and project-based learning.
Participants learn how medical devices are designed, how the human body is modelled through biomechanics, and how biotechnology and diagnostics are transforming modern medicine.
In hands-on labs they prototype and test real medical technology, before applying everything to a capstone project developed with a partner biomedical engineering company.
