Academic Programme

The Campus

The course takes place in a residential area of Queens, on the gorgeous leafy campus of St. John's University where students live, study, and eat most of their meals.

Unlike many city college campuses that lack space and amenities,  St. John's has it all, featuring beautiful wide lawns, ultramodern residence halls, state-of-the-art sports facilities, and high-tech classrooms. Last but not least, St. John's offers the most breathtaking views of the Manhattan skyline.

It is conveniently situated within walking distance or a short bus ride from the subway, which offers access to the heart of the city in approximately 30 minutes.

Accommodation


Students live in modern suite-style residence halls which throughout the academic year house St. John’s University students.

Each suite features:

  • Up to 5 bedrooms with one or two bathrooms, depending on the size of the suite (the bathroom ratio of one bathroom for every 4 guests).

  • Single, double, and triple rooms with a twin-size bed, desk, closet, and dresser for each student.

  • A living/sitting area.

  • A kitchen-type area with a mini fridge and a microwave.

  • Dinners on campus or in local eateries to give a taste of what life in New York is really like and let students take full advantage of their excursion time in the city.

Model United Nations:


The Model UN course helps students develop diplomacy and public speaking skills while addressing global

issues. As part of the New York-based program, students will visit the UN headquarters, gaining firsthand

experience in international diplomacy and a deeper understanding of global dynamics.


Young Entrepreneurs


This course equips students with the skills to start and manage their own business. Through hands-on activities, students learn management, marketing, hiring, and finance all while making their own business come to life.


Coding


This program covers the basic skills needed to build web pages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. By the end

of the course, students will have created their own website. No previous programming experience is required.
