Plumpton College, established in 1919, stands as an exceptional destination for a summer adventure, particularly appealing to parents and agents of school-age children.
Renowned for its focus on animals and outdoor activities, this leading agricultural college boasts a vast 900-hectare campus, complete with a working farm and a range of recreational facilities.
In Plumpton there is an awesome activities programme: from hands on experience with horses and sports to animal care and forest exploration, there’s something for every young adventurer to enjoy.
The courses on offer provide a hands-on experience, including animal care, archery, wall climbing, paddle boarding, e-sports classes, and baking sessions in Plumpton’s esteemed Agri-Food Hub.

The School
Plumpton is located in the pretty village of Plumpton in East Sussex, just 30 minutes from the vibrant and creative seaside town of Brighton. An amazing setting for an adventurous summer for those who love animals and being outdoors. It is also only 8km from Lewes voted the Prettiest town in England- It has medieval streets, old English churches and tiny alleys and remains of a Norman castle and the townhouse of Anne of Cleves (fourth wife of King Henry Vlll).

The school's facilities are excellent, offering everything an adventurous student may need to feel at ease in their surroundings whilst having a memorable experience. In addition to the 900 acres of land previously mentioned, the school offers a fully fitted training kitchen, volleyball and basketball courts, table tennis, a games room, climbing wall with horse stables, an animal care centre and a forest!
ACCOMMODATION
Excellent residential facilities accommodate up to 120 students in modern comfortable rooms. Plumpton College provides mainly single bedrooms with limited twin and multi- bedded rooms in separate male and female accommodation blocks, and all bathrooms are shared between 4-6 students. Laundry is available onsite and free of charge. Students are housed dependent on their age and gender. Bedrooms have communal bathing and toilet facilities.
