About the Course
FIRST® LEGO® League Challenge is a global STEM programme for teams of young people, which encourages an interest in real-world themes and develops key skills that are crucial for their future careers .
This STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) programme is delivered in collaboration with the Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET), FIRST® LEGO® League, and LEGO® Education
An exciting new STEM course (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) that combines English language learning with robotics, engineering, coding and team competition.
This fun and stimulating course develops English language, teamwork, and robotics skills. It prepares students for a career in the exciting world of technology and engineering. Through structured games, challenges and activities, students learn the language of technology and engineering before competing in multinational teams to design, build, and code Lego spike robots in the first Lego league challenge.

About the School

Engaging Youth in STEM Exploration
A unique opportunity for Young Technologists (11-15) to experience working together in the international teams that are typical of the modern science and technology workplace.
Min Level of English required: B1 /Intermediate
Mornings:
Mornings start with sessions designed to improve English language skills in a dynamic and communicative classroom. These language skills are further developed after the morning break as students investigate case studies of real-world environmental or technical challenges and work together to design their own technological solutions, which they then present to the group. (These activities provide great opportunities for student to express their creativity and develop English language communication skills)
Afternoons:
Work together to design, build and code autonomous robots in in a robot games competition created by FIRST® LEGO® League.
Evenings and weekends:
Explore the city on guided walks and excursions, visiting attractions such as Legoland or participating in other fun group activities.
Small Class Sizes
These courses focus on small classes to ensure that students are given specialist attention and support.
Experienced Teachers:
All teachers are CELTA qualified and there to provide your child with all the support they need.
