Famously home to the legendary Robin Hood, Nottingham is steeped in English history and folklore, however is also ideally located  to experience the UK with trips to Manchester, York and Cambridge.

This centre is based at the University of Nottingham – ranked in the UK’s Top 10 and the World’s Top 100 universities. The Nottingham centre offers younger learners a safe and secure stay with teaching and accommodation all close together on a beautiful self-contained campus set in 330 acres of sculptured parkland. The campus offers exceptional sporting facilities just a few minutes’ walk from the accommodation, including tennis courts, an indoor swimming pool, a sports hall and playing fields. High levels of supervision, care and attention make this an ideal campus for younger learners or those going abroad for the first time.

All arrivals and departures should be on Sundays. If students wish to arrive or depart on a Saturday, one way supplementary fees will be charged.

Saturday arrivals and departures are arranged subject to availability. Please let us know in advance so we can arrange suitable airport transfers .

Please note: Courses run from Sunday to Sunday.

All prices are based on arrivals and departures on Sundays. Arrival and departure on other days is only available at limited centres and is subject to availability. Non-Sunday arrival or departure will incur a supplementary charge of £100 or US/Can$200 in addition to the extra night charge, available on request.

Unaccompanied Minors: Any student travelling as an Unaccompanied Minor (UM) must pay our UM fee of £50/US$100/Can$100 per single journey.

Airport bus transfer: The school is now able to offer a bus transfer service from certain airports. Students will travel with other students, and adult supervision, on a dedicated minibus that will leave the airport at 4pm each Sunday while the course runs. It will leave the centre at 10am every Sunday to return to the airport. This option may be subject to availability.



 The school  reserves the right to cancel a course or make changes to course arrangements without liability if obliged to by circumstances beyond its control or due to low demand. In such cases St Giles would seek to offer alternative arrangements, dates or venues, or a full refund of fees for tuition and accommodation.

Courses and course content: Courses are offered subject to demand. The school reserves the right to vary the organisation and content of courses, and the range of leisure activities, according to numbers of students or in response to circumstances beyond their control.

All meals are provided in the large, comfortable cafeterias on campus except on excursions when a packed-lunch is given to all students . Wholesome and varied food is served and special dietary requirements can be catered for. Please advise us at the time of enrolment if a student has any special dietary requirements. Please contact us for a sample menu.



Students should bring summer clothes as well as waterproof jackets, swimwear, trainers (sports shoes) for outside usage, white -soled sports shoes for use in the sports hall, and a towel.. Students should also bring, an alarm clock and hairdryer if needed. Students should remember to bring an adaptor for their mobile phone charger and other electrical items. We advise that students do not bring valuable items such as expensive watches, jewellery, valuable electronic items, expensive cameras etc.

However, valuables and items such as passports and airline tickets can be handed over to the school staff for safe keeping. The school cannot accept responsibility for the loss of items or money unless given to them for safe keeping.



All Residential courses include a comprehensive Activity Programme of excursions, sports and activities – Full activity programme every afternoon and evening, including a variety of sports and other activities

2 full-day and 2 half-day excursions per week

Excursions include: London Manchester Cambridge

The school reserves the right to cancel or to offer substitute activities on the optional activities programmes in the event of fewer than 10 students opting for any individual activity.



Breakages and Medical Deposits: Please note that a deposit of £80 (Canterbury, Cambridge, London, Nottingham and Southampton), US$100 (Florida, Harvard, New York, Philadelphia, San Diego, San Francisco, and Yale) and CAN$100 (Toronto and Vancouver) or equivalent sum in Euros is payable in cash on arrival, and will be collected from all students on the first day of their course.

The breakages deposit will be returned to students with a deduction made if any for loss of keys and/or personal damage to any property of the school has occurred.

Students studying the US and Canada are also requested to pay a refundable deposit of US/CAN$100 to cover the insurance excess payable for any medical expenses in the event that the student is ill and requires treatment.

Please note that a guardianship fee of CAD$100.00 is payable on all junior courses in Toronto and Vancouver.
