Set in the campus grounds of King’s College, the fourth oldest university in England, your London language experience will take place in the heart of the vibrant and cosmopolitan capital city of London.

This young learner programme at King’s College, London Bridge, offers you the perfect location from which to discover one of the greatest and most exciting cities in the world, with daily excursions to famous sites in and around London. You will study and live in the heart of London’s Zone 1 right next to the Shard, at a leading college campus with excellent teaching facilities.

AGE RANGE

Individuals: 14 - 17 years (Please note that students up to the age of 20 years old may be present on site in closed groups on selected dates.)

 

ACCOMMODATION  & WELFARE

You will stay in single en-suite bedrooms in a well-maintained student residence provided by King’s College. The residence is located only 15 minutes from the campus on foot, and includes 24 hour security, laundry facilities, and a dedicated Young Learner team on site.

COURSE OBJECTIVES

TRANSFERS

At the airports, the school's staff carry large  signs. All arrivals between 10:00 and 16:00,  an extra charge of £50 will apply for a return journey, for flights arriving outside those times.

At busy times students may be grouped together. When several students arrive at the same time we also use larger vehicles, always with a British Study Centres member of staff being present upon arrival and departure.

Exact flight information must be provided at least 20 days prior to your arrival. Transfer fees will not be refunded if you fail to inform the school of any changes in your itinerary or if you miss your connections.

UNACCOMPANIED MINORS

For students travelling as an unaccompanied minor (UM) with airlines, there will be a charge of £50. This will ensure there is a named person to meet and greet and sign for UM students. Upon departure all UMs will be handed to the relevant airline staff after check in and in most cases, the school's named person will wait with the student until airline staff takes him/her to the aircraft.
