How to write your life story

Autobiographies and memoirs are two of the most popular categories of books today.  But you don’t have to be famous or old to publish an account of your life.  In this stimulating course, author Greg Watts shows you how you can begin writing your story and how you can publish it.  He reveals some of the tricks of the trade, showing that writing your story is easier than you might think. Greg Watts has established an excellent reputation as a journalist, author, teacher and public relations adviser. He has written for The Times, The Guardian, Evening Standard, and many other publications, and has reported from Iraq, Russia, Italy, Lebanon, Israel and the Palestinian Territories.

His TV and radio appearances include CNN, Sky, ITN, BBC, and Al-Jazeera.  Greg He has written a dozen books, including biographies of Rembrandt and Mother Teresa. He teaches journalism at Birkbeck College, University of London, and runs creative writing workshops. He is a member of The Society of Authors The National Association of Writers in Education and the National Association for Literature Development. He has also taken visitors on walking tours into what he calls ‘those secret corners of London that are never mentioned on the pages of tourist brochures or in travel books’.
