Wycliffe College – Ages 8 -17

Wycliffe College, located in Gloucestershire in the small town of Stonehouse which has a busy high street with gift shops, restaurants and cafés, is an ideal location for our young learners. The green college campus is surrounded by the beautiful Cotswold Hills and countryside and enjoys all the benefits of space and the outdoor lifestyle.

The school itself was founded in 1882 and has excellent facilities for learning and activities. Many of the facilities are new and of a high standard including the new sports centre, astro-turf playing field and a good range of accommodation with some en-suite accommodation.

ACCOMMODATION  & WELFARE

All houses are equipped with a common room, with TV, DVD, sofas and a games room, providing a great atmosphere for students to relax, practice thei rEnglish and get to know each other.

Junior School accommodation • 8 - 11 years The junior school has two comfortable boarding houses which have been refurbished to a high standard and offer accommodation in rooms of 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 beds. • Spacious rooms • Adjacent bathroom, shower and toilet facilities • Fully equipped common rooms

Senior School accommodation • 12 - 17 years Boarding houses at the senior school are of a high standard and consist of single and twin rooms. • Attractive, modern rooms • Fully equipped common rooms • Adjacent bathrooms, showers and toilets • En-suite rooms – additional fee of £100/ week

TRANSFERS

At the airports, the school's staff carry large  signs. All arrivals between 10:00 and 16:00,  an extra charge of £50 will apply for a return journey, for flights arriving outside those times.

At busy times students may be grouped together. When several students arrive at the same time we also use larger vehicles, always with a British Study Centres member of staff being present upon arrival and departure.

Exact flight information must be provided at least 20 days prior to your arrival. Transfer fees will not be refunded if you fail to inform the school of any changes in your itinerary or if you miss your connections.

UNACCOMPANIED MINORS

For students travelling as an unaccompanied minor (UM) with airlines, there will be a charge of £50. This will ensure there is a named person to meet and greet and sign for UM students. Upon departure all UMs will be handed to the relevant airline staff after check in and in most cases, the school's named person will wait with the student until airline staff takes him/her to the aircraft.
