Winchester is an historic cathedral city in the beautiful county of Hampshire. It is the perfect location for a summer school: easy to reach, just an hour from London, the sea, the forest and the world heritage site of Stonehenge!
Having been the ancient capital of England, Winchester has retained many grand buildings. These include its magnificent cathedral and the Great Hall, which for over 700 years has housed the mysterious King Arthur’s Round Table. Explore the great shops and cafes in the city centre or take a trip to London to see all the famous sights!
The Arts Summer School takes place at St Swithun’s, a high-achieving private school on the outskirts of Winchester.
From the comfortable accommodation and well-equipped classrooms to the sports fields, tennis courts and newly refurbished canteen, the facilities at St Swithun’s are all first-class and provide you with a perfect environment to get everything you could want from a residential summer course!
